Our Story

The name Hagios, derived from the Greek, means “set apart” or “unique.” That name was chosen with care. It reflects our belief that a truly great advisory firm must be distinct: not just in credentials, but in character, in method, and in the depth of its commitment to every client it serves.

Though formally incorporated in 2025, Hagios Advisory is far from inexperienced. Our partners and resource persons bring over two decades of hands-on expertise spanning Banking, Management, Finance, and Strategy, work carried out in Tier 1 Nigerian banks, across sectors such as Oil & Gas, Power, Telecoms, Construction, Manufacturing, and Trading.

We were born out of necessity. In a business environment increasingly defined by noise, complexity, and rapid change, there is a pressing need for advisors who can cut through that noise, who can sift through the data, challenge the assumptions, and surface the clarity that enables genuine value creation.

That is the problem Hagios Advisory was built to solve. Our approach is always the same: understand deeply, advise honestly, and stay engaged until a marked difference is visible, before and after every engagement we undertake.

Uchenna Obianeli

Managing Partner

Uche brings over two decades of financial expertise to Hagios Advisory. He has held senior leadership roles at Tier 1 Nigerian banks, where he managed portfolios exceeding $150 million across the Oil & Gas Downstream and Power sectors.

Throughout his career, Uche has successfully led teams in executing complex tasks across diverse industries, including Trading, Construction, Manufacturing, Telecoms, and Oil & Gas. His core competencies span strategy, banking, finance, management, international trade, negotiations, and business development.

His academic background includes a B.Sc. in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Benin, a postgraduate diploma from Cranfield University, and a professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He is also an alumnus of the Founders Institute, Nigeria.

In addition to his leadership at Hagios Advisory, Uche serves as Chief Strategy Officer at Cabipa Nigeria Limited, where he leads the development of transformative strategic initiatives aligned with global best practices, positioning the company for sustainable growth and operational agility in a period of significant industry disruption.

Ochea Ikpa

Ochea is a seasoned multidisciplinary professional with over 19 years of expertise spanning Treasury Operations, Environmental Management, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE). He offers a unique blend of skills across these domains, with a proven track record of integrating corporate finance principles with sustainable environmental practices.

His work supports SMEs and mid-tier firms across manufacturing, construction, energy, agriculture, and public services, ensuring regulatory compliance while driving strategic investment initiatives that create long-term business resilience.

Ochea specialises in delivering practical, cost-effective, and scalable solutions that align financial soundness with environmental responsibility. His ability to work across diverse industries within the SME sector has helped businesses maintain financial stability, navigate complex regulatory landscapes, integrate ESG frameworks, and establish best practices in health and safety.
